St. Theresa of Avila Parish bid farewell to organist and music director, Richard Bunbury on Sunday, January 15.  The nootime Mass was his last as organist.  The choirloft was more crowded than usual as past members came back to join members of the current adult choir for his last hurrah.  Following the homily, Msgr. Helmick paid tribute to Mr. Bunbury for his devotion to the choir and the musical program at the parish that began on October 15, 1979.  His remarks were followed by a standing ovation.  Following the Mass, Mr. Bunbury chatted with parishioners in the pavilion and was presented a rocking chair from members of the choir to enjoy in his retirement.  A search is underway for a new choir director.
