Presenting the Quality Choice Plan to the External Advisory Committee
Dear Friends,
Tomorrow night at 6:00 PM, I am presenting the Quality Choice Plan to the BPS External Advisory Committee on student assignment with Representative Linda Dorcena Forry.
Last week I joined with Representative Forry and State Representatives Russell Holmes, Ed Coppinger, Nick Collins, and Councilor Matt O'Malley to present the Quality Choice Plan as an alternative proposal for groundbreaking student assignment reform. All of us have received great feedback from you and your neighbors – we appreciate the support and advice and we will continue working hard to reform the student assignment process.
Now we need your help. Please show the External Advisory Committee you support the Quality Choice Plan by signing the petition by 6:00 PM tomorrow.
Please join us tomorrow for the EAC meeting. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM and will be held at Suffolk University (73 Tremont St., 9th floor).
If you have already signed the petition, thank you! Please help us spread the word by posting this link to Facebook, or emailing the link to your friends and family who live in Boston: www.qualitychoiceplan.com.
If you’re willing to help collect signatures by hand, please email qualitychoiceplan@gmail.com for the materials you need.
Please help us make sure this plan is adopted by signing the petition today.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
John
