Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance for Seniors
The evidence-based program focuses on preventing falls through regular practice of 8 single forms of Tai Chi, which are derived from the traditional, well-known, 24-form Yang Style Tai Chi but tailored to elders who wish to improve their balance and mobility, and consequently, reduce the risk of falling. I am partially disabled with osteoarthritis in both ankles and knees. I've taken this class before and found that it has helped me a great deal in maintaining my balance and strength. I would definitely recommend it.
