1. The Boston School Committee Nominating Panel will be interviewing candidates for the committee in the conference room on the first floor at 26 Court St., Boston at 1 p.m. today.
2. On Tuesday, Boston City Council President Stephen Murphy will be the guest speaker at the weekly West Roxbury/Roslindale Rotary Club meeting. Noon. West on Centre. All are welcome to attend.
3. Catholic Memorial School's annual Christmas concert will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Holy Name Parish. The concert will include traditional favorites performed by the eighth-grade chorus, The Jazz Men, and The Chamber Ensemble. The concert will also include special solos and readings by students from all grade levels. Craig Spaner, chair of the Fine Arts department at CM, will conduct the chorus and musicians. The concert is free and open to the public.
4. On Tuesday there is a Drop-in Knitting session at the West Roxbury Library. 3:30-5:30 p.m. Knitters of all levels are welcome to join in and share their craft.
