5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 11
Today there will be free arts and crafts for kids at Hynes Playground; and the ReadBoston Storymobile will be at Billings Field and the Roche Family Community Center.

- Today there will be an Artists in Residence Craft Workshop for children in two age groups, infant to 5-years-old and 6- to 12-years-old. Free arts and crafts from 9 a.m. to noon at Hynes Playground.
- Also for the kids today, the ReadBoston Storymobile will be at Billings Field at 10 a.m. ....
- ....and the Storymobile will be at the Roche Family Community Center at 11:15 a.m. Every child in attendance up to 8-years-old will receive a free book and entertainment at any Storymobile event.
- Starting today and every Wednesday through August, there will be a free bootcamp class at Boston's City Hall Plaza from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Be there 10 minutes beforehand and bring athletic clothes, shoes and water. For more info, contact Ryan at RRose@fitcorp.com.
- On Friday, admission to the Franklin Park Zoo is free due to Highland Street Foundation’s Free Fun Fridays.
