5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 26

  1. Tonight there will be a video lecture "Cezanne and Pissarro" held at the West Roxbury Branch Library from 6-7:45 p.m. Group discussion follows. Free and open to the public. 
  2. Also tonight enjoy a Boston R.O.C.K.S. Block Family Pool Party at the Draper Pool. 5:30-7:30 p.m. A free cookout, swimming, games and activities, summer programming information and more at Boston Centers for Youth & Families.
  3. Also tonight at the library, the ReadBoston Storymobile will be there at 6 p.m. to provide free entertaining stories to children up to 8, as well as free books for every child in attendance. Reservations not necessary.

  5. Today the City is hosting a celebration of the 22nd anniverary of the American Disabilities Act at Boston City Hall Plaza. A free event for all with food, music and fun. 12-3 p.m. Read more here.
