  1. Food trucks are all the rage these days! Here's a list of all food trucks at public sites in Boston for the month of May.
  2. Tonight Deutsches Altenheim, with support from St. Theresa Parish presents: The Changing Health Care Laws and How They Impact Your Financial Future. This panel discussion is designed to help you gain a better understanding of the new health care laws and how they affect care options of the aging community. Four professionals including a healthy aging manager from Ethos, a United Healthcare representative, a financial planner and an elder law representative, will all speak. The gymnasium of St. Theresa of Avila School.   3. Registration for the summer camp programs at the Roche Family Community Center began Wednesday at 5 p.m. Sessions begin the week of July 9. Camps are Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Fee: $250 per two-week session. There are camps for kids age 3- to 15-year-olds.
  4. This week's Patch Readers' Choice poll wants to know - where is the best spot to get Mother's Day brunch in West Roxbury? The poll will be up all week and voting ends on Friday at 9 a.m. The winner will be announced on Friday at noon. 
  5. The Center for Asian Martial Arts is chopping, kicking and using a Zen-like patience to participate in a fundraiser to benefit United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)This week participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of five traditional Asian martial arts. There is a suggested donation of $30 to attend an unlimited amount of classes during the week, and 100% of the donations collected will go towards the UCP Foundation.
