- This Sunday the 36th Annual Roslindale Day Parade is stepping off from Adams Park at 1 p.m. on Sunday. This year's parade theme is "Saluting Roslindale's Prized Pets."
- Also on Sunday at 10 a.m. there will be a Blessing of the Animals at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Animals and people of all religious affiliations are welcome.

- On Sunday at the Chestnut Hill Mall there will be the 4th Annual Here Comes the Bride Event. Free. 1-4 p.m. A delightful daylong extravaganza of wedded bliss at its most stylish, the event will feature a runway fashion show featuring wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses by L'Elite Bridal and Vera Wang, followed by a fashion show featuring on-trend honeymoon and celebratory looks from participating stores. Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, goody bags and door prizes, while they visit with a variety of vendors who will be on-site through out the event.
