Boston Police are searching for a white male who passed a note demanding money to an Eastern Bank teller around 1:25 p.m. today. It is unknown at this time whether the suspect was given money.

AlertNewEngland tweeted the suspect fled "in a black truck with a partial plate of "1158"," from the bank at 2029 Centre St., in West Roxbury, according to scanner reports.

A BPD media spokesperson said it is unknown whether the suspect was given money or not, and that witness reports indicated a female was driving a possible getaway vehicle.
