Boxer Dog Bites Neighbor on Washington Street

The victim flagged down police after being bit. The dog was not on the scene when District E-5 Police arrived.

A female victim flagged down a Boston Police officer at 4823 Washington Street after she was bit by her neighbor's dog.

The woman told an officer that she knows the person who is either her neighbor or the dog walker, of a fawn boxer dog, that allegedly bit her, according to a Boston Police report.

Police drove around the area, but could not find the dog.

The victim told police around 11:49 a.m. the dog unexpectedly bit her on the right ring finger.

The dog walker or owner, told the victim the dog is up-to-date on shots, but did not show any paperwork.

The victim also called Boston Animal Control and was treated by Boston EMS, and said she'd seek treatment on her own, too.
