Corrib Pub Kitchen Installs New Equipment After Small Fire

Neighborhood favorite, the Corrib Pub had a small stove fire last week, but was back up and running the next day for its West Roxbury faithful.

The Corrib Pub and Restaurant had a small stove fire on May 8 that caused the kitchen to only close for that night.

While small, the fire still concerned Corrib fans far and wide, like California's Rose Hughes who posted on West Roxbury Patch's Facebook page: "Too bad. Hope it is back up and running for my next visit from CA!"

Thankfully, the bar was open that night and the kitchen was back up and running the next day on regular schedule, according to a reply to Hughes by the Corrib Pub and Restaurant

"Our kitchen was closed only for the one night... thankfully no one was injured! New equipment was installed the next morning, we had inspections and opened for business at our normal 11 am on Thursday. Thank you to the West Roxbury Patch for reporting and Rose Hughes hope you can come back soon!"
