Even though Cristelle's Restaurant's outdoor chairs and tables were secured by a cable, thieves were able to get away with four chairs and six tables.
The owner of the popular restaurant told police on June 7 that sometime overnight the four metal chairs and six metal patio tables were taken from in front of the business.
The owner said the furniture was there at 11:30 p.m. on June 6, and gone by 8 a.m. on June 7, when he opened back up for business.
The furniture had been chained together and secured by a padlock, which was then affixed to the building, according to a Boston Police report. The items are valued at $1,130.
An officer could see one of the bolts, which secured the cable to the building, was missing and a broken D-ring appeared to have been cut with an unknown cutting tool.
Security cameres filming in the store also partially film the outside of the store. The security footage will be provided to the Boston Police.
