A very intoxicated West Roxbury woman was arrested and charged with assault and battery after allegedly hitting her boyfriend, then two downstairs neighbors.

Boston Police arrested Melissa Catherine Pariseau, of 6 Crosstown Ave., West Roxbury, on July 15 around 9:13 p.m., and charged her with assault and battery.

Police were called to Crosstown Avenue for an assault and battery in progress and met Pariseau's boyfriend, who alleged she assaulted him with a picture frame while in the his apartment. Police observed a small cut on his right palm, which he said was from the attack, according to a Boston Police report.

The suspect then left the apartment, and went to the downstairs neighbors, who told police that Pariseau came into their apartment with a stick in her hand and attacked one of the two by striking her down on the ground and striking her with hands and feet. The other neighbor tried to come to the others aide, and was assaulted by the suspect in the melee, she told police.

The two downstairs neighbors told police that the suspect becomes aggressive when she drinks. All of the victims were advised of their rights.

When the suspect was arrested after coming back to the house, the police said: "Let it be noted that Pariseau appeared very intoxicated barely able to stand swaying back and forth. She also smelled of alcohol and (had) slurred speech while speaking with officers."
