The following article is based on a Boston Police report, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A juvenile male from Boston was arrested for allegedly destroying more than 50 fence pickets in West Roxbury after getting into an argument with his girlfriend.

On Jan. 6 around 3:26 a.m., a male juvenile was arrested and charged with destruction of personal property (cellphone) and destruction of property (fence).

Police were called to Glenhaven Road and spoke with a witness who saw the suspect arguing with a female and go into a rage and break off tops of pickets from the fence surrounding the house at 2 Glenhaven Road. The suspect allegedly threw many of the pickets into the street, according to a Boston Police report. The witness said he feared for the female and confronted the suspect just as officers arrived on the scene.

The female said she had gotten into a verbal argument with the suspect who smashed her phone after she received a call from another male, according to a Boston Police report.

Officers saw four six-foot sections of a four foot-high wooden fence to be vandalized, with more than 50 pickets being destroyed.
