Late Night Pizza Maker Assaults Brother

A West Roxbury man was arrested and charged with assault and battery of his brother after waking him while making pizza. The following information is from the BPD, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

District E-5 Police arrested a West Roxbury man early Sunday morning after he allegedly woke his brother while making pizza, and then assaulted him after the duo got into a fight.

Timothy James Walsh, of 118 Gardner St. #1, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Police were met by Walsh at his home, who said he was making pizza, and he and his brother got into a fight, according to a Boston Police report. Smelling alcohol emanating from him, officers asked if he had been drinking, to which he allegedly retorted, "Yeah I had a few drinks it's the weekend." Police observed the man had his shirt torn, a swollen right eye, scratches under his right eye, right side and back, and right side of his forearm. He declined medical attention.

Officers spoke with the other brother, who confirmed to police he had been sleeping when his brother awoke him while making pizza. He said they had argued and his brother had punched him in the face and choked him. He declined medical attention, too.
