The Parkway Girls Softball League's Opening Day was on Sunday.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino attended the day, which featured three games, a DJ, games, facepainting, food and fun. West Roxbury's Julia Gangemi, 12, caught the ceremonial first pitch to open up the season.
