New Balance Donates $1-Million to One Fund Boston

The athletic shoe company said it will also match any donations made by company employees.

 

The New Balance shoe and apparel company has donated $1-million to the One Fund Boston to aid the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

New Balance also announced that it will match any donations made by company employees to the One Fund Boston, according to the Boston Globe.

The One Fund Boston is continually growing with individuals and company donors, including Partners HealthCare that announced it also donated $1-million to fund.

One Fund Boston was established by Mayor Thomas Menino and Governor Deval Patrick as a fund to help the victims of the Marathon bombings. In it's first day alone, the fund raised over $7 million to help defray medical costs for the injured.
