New Jersey Man Arrested for Assault and Battery in West Roxbury

Suspect allegedly damaged a motor vehicle and pushed a victim. The following article is based on a BPD report, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

Boston Police arrested a New Jersey man on July 28 around 2:29 p.m. for an assault and battery on Westgate Road.

Police arrested John Charles Clark, of 418 Hickory Lane, Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and charged him with assault and battery.

Police spoke with two witnesses who said they heard a commotion outside and when they went out they saw that one of their vehicle's front hood was damaged. Both witnesses said they did not see who or how the damage occurred.

While officers were on scene, police were informed that the suspect, Clark, had allegedly caused the damage to the vehicle, as well as push one of the witnesses several times before officers arrived.
