Today West Roxbury Patch is debuting a new feature - Pet of the Day.

The Pet or Pets of the Day, could be any pet in the West Roxbury area - a dog, cat, iguanda, fish, guinea pig or anything else that is allowed by the zoning code.

Today's first and honorary Pets of the Day are Leroy and Hobbes Ertischek. Yes, they are my cats. But they are faithful assistants to my editorship.

A little information about them:

Age: 14. They are litter mates and were born in a barn on a turkey farm in New Hampshire.

Likes: Tuna, Chinese food (preferably boneless spareribs), eating leaves off the back porch, and cuddling.

Dislikes: Loud noises, stopping cuddling, when the food bowl is empty, and dogs.

Do you want your pet to be Pet of the Day? Submit a photo of your pet(s), its name, age, likes/dislikes, and info you'd like to include. Email davide@patch.com
