On Sunday before starters pistol sounded for the 18th Annual Corrib Classic 5K race, the future runners of the 5K took Billings Field for the kids race.
All participants received medals for running. The cheers of parents, friends and family could be heard from Centre Street as the tykes sprinted through the grass.
