Roxbury Latin graduate Joseph Warren, who served as president of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress in the early days of the American Revolution and was killed in the Battle of Bunker Hill, has his likeness nestled into bushes in front of his alma mater.

West Roxbury is full of history, and it shows it in the statues and monuments throughout the neighborhood.
