Poll: What is the Best Sporting Goods Store in West Roxbury?

This week's West Roxbury Patch.com Readers' Choice poll wants to know what is the best sporting goods store in West Roxbury?

 

This week's West Roxbury Patch's Readers' Choice poll wants to know what you think is the best sporting goods store in the neighborhood?

This poll wouldn't have been possible five years ago; however, several recreational sports enthusiasts have set up shop on Centre Street.

There is some very stiff competition in this category, with three businesses owners who are also friends and help each other out on a regular basis.

The three businesses - the Busted Knuckle Bike Shop, GC Skate Shop, and Wicked Sharp Ski & Sports, all tend to different recreational sports. Busted Knuckle has got you covered on bicycles; while GC has your skateboarding needs; and Wicked Sharp meets your skiing, snowboarding and tennis needs.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick.

In the meantime, you can always go to our Patch Places page and search for local businesses by category, or write reviews and recommendations!

Due to this poll not being scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. 

Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes.

This is actually a comparison between apples, oranges, and pears. If some people like to ski but not skate, then that would bias the person toward the ski shop.
