Poll: What is the Best 'Staycation' in West Roxbury?

Instead of going away on vacation, where will you be going locally to have fun? Vote in this week's Patch Readers' Choice poll.

This week's West Roxbury Patch's Readers' Choice poll wants to know - where is the best 'staycation' in West Roxbury?

What's a staycation you ask?

Wikipedia defines it as: "A staycation (also spelled stay-cation, stacation, or staykation) is a neologism for a period in which an individual or family stays and relaxes at home, possibly taking day trips to area attractions. Staycations achieved popularity in the US during the financial crisis of 2007–2010."

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as "a vacation spent at home or nearby."

So check out some local options and let us know what sounds like a good local staycation to you in the comments section.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick.

In the meantime, you can always go to our Patch Places page and search for local businesses by category, or write reviews and recommendations.
