Quincy Man Arrested for Driving with Revoked License in West Roxbury

Police initiated a motor vehicle stop after observing the driver run a red light. The following info is provided by the BPD, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Boston Police arrested a Quincy man on July 30 due to the man driving with a revoked license.

Around 5:40 p.m., Kevin M. O'Rourke, of 175 Centre St. #1411, Quincy, was arrested and charged with operation a motor vehicle with a revoked or suspended license.

Officers stopped at Lorette and Centre streets in a marked cruiser, allegedly observed the O'Rourke run a red light on Centre Street heading outbounds toward Spring Street.

Through a database search, police learned the driver's license was revoked, and later during the booking process it was learned the driver had a previous driving with a revoked/suspended license charge out of Stoughton District Court. As a result the suspect was charged with a second and subsequent charge of operating a motor vehicle after having a license revoked.
