Readers Vote Rox Diner West Roxbury's Best Breakfast

Rox Diner won with 56 percent of votes in nine-candidate field.

 

West Roxbury has spoken, and strongly. Our readers have voted Rox Diner as the best breakfast spot in the neighborhood.

The popular Centre Street spot dominated the nine-candidate field, collecting 56 percent of the 188 votes cast. Westbury Restaurant (14 percent, 28 votes) and Spring Street Cafe (13 percent, 25 votes) emerged as second and third runner-ups, respectively.

Rox Diner's lengthy breakfast menu features several versions of eggs benedict, and a hearty selection of omelets. It also has meals for seniors and kids, french toast and pancakes, and several breakfast specials. Check out the menu here.

If you'd like to get out of West Roxbury for breakfast, however, two readers recommended Harry's in Roslindale. Reader Kathleen Gordon wrote, "Harry's on Center Street! BEST bacon egg adn chees on a bagel... fabulous pancakes! Great place to meet friends!"
