Suspect Allegedly Burned Victim's Face with Cigarette

A West Roxbury resident was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The following information was provided by the Boston Police Department and where charges are mentioned dose not indicate a conviction.

A West Roxbury man was arrested and charged with assault and battery using a cigarette to burn a woman's face on March 23.

Matthew James Lowre, of 71 Desoto Road, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

District E-5 Police were called to a Desoto Road for a fight around 5:42 p.m., according to a Boston Police report. The caller said she called police after the victim came to her Desoto Road home to fight with her son, Lowre.

Officers determined the suspect and victim had ongoing problems since February, and that earlier in the day the two ran into each other, and the suspect allegedly burned the left side of the victim's face with a cigarette.

The victim was taken to Faulkner Hospital for treatment.

Repeat offender!...But nothing will be done with this nutbag till he kills somebody...and even then he'd be found "not guilty" by another jury that watches too much CSI.
