Tedeschi's Held Up by Armed Robber in West Roxbury

The suspect showed a gun, struggled with an employee and took money from the register. The employee suffered a minor injury. The following information is from the BPD. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The convenience store on Spring Street was robbed early this morning by a gun-toting assailant, who made off with some register money.

Around 5:13 a.m., were called to 7 Spring St., and upon arrival an employee of the store said the robber brandished a firearm and demanded all of the money from the register. The employee said the suspect went around the counter, struggled with the employee knocking him to the ground, and then took an unknown about of money from the register, according to BPDNews.com.

The employee suffered a minor injury, but declined any medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20s 6-feet tall, thin build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The employee said the suspect fled the area in a black Ford Ranger with an unknown license plate.

Police were unable to locate the suspect through a search of the area.
