Telluride Film Festival Honors West Roxbury's Chapin Cutler
Chapin Cutler is the co-founder of Boston Light & Sound.
West Roxbury resident Chapin Cutler won a prestigious award previously given to Ted Turner, Leonard Maltin and UCLA. Cutler was honored by the Telluride Film Festival this month with its Special Silver Medallion Award for his significant contributiong to the world of cinema.
Cutler is the co-founder of Boston Light & Sound. Festival organizers selected him for his more than 35 years of dedication to the "art of cinema as a technical director of the Telluride Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Turner Classic Movie Festival, and many others."
