Do you need a good laugh? Do you want to support the Parkway Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading teams? You can do both this weekend at the 4th Annual Parkway Pop Warner Laughfest.

The event is on Friday night and will feature Sam Adams Boston Comedian Award winner Harrison Stebbins, and Corey Rodrigues, as well as other comedians.

All proceeds go to support the Parkway Pop Warner football and cheering leading teams. With that in mind there will be plenty of raffle prizes from many Parkway businesses. 

There will be a lot of raffle prizes from many Parkway businesses. The event takes place on 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus. Only 200 tickets were to be available, so get there early.

Also on Friday night, it's a girls night out at the Roche Family Community Center. It's for girls grades 6 and up. 

The evening goes from 4 to 8 p.m. and will feature manicures and pedicures down the road at a nail salon, and then the girls (with chaperones) will head back to the community center. 

Back at the community center there will be pizza, games and plenty of girl talk. Sorry, no boys allowed. 

The evening does cost $40 per girl + tip for nails. But come on, you get your nails and feet done and you get to hang out with your friends. That's not bad for a Friday night.

And on Saturday head over to the Roslindale Farmers' Market for some fresh local produce. The market has grown so much in the last few years, if you haven't checked out the market, you should do so. It's open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There's also activities for kids and live music. This weekend you can come for Recycle Art with local artist Kasey Appleman at 10 a.m., and Shufflin' Time Tap with Patrice Monahan at 11 a.m.
