A citywide alert was triggered tonight after two young brothers went missing from their West Roxbury home today. A BPD spokesperson confirmed the two boys were missing around 12:30 p.m. today and found around 8:50 p.m. tonight by the MBTA Transit Police.

He said BPD did not receive a call about the 9- and 12-years-old brothers missing, until about 7 p.m. Police quickly extended the search area to the Dedham Mall area, especially considering the initial report of the boys missing came from 5050 Washington St., in West Roxbury.
