UPDATE: Motorcyclist Dead from Accident Identified
Donovan J. Bartee, 25, of Boston, was declared dead at the hospital after an accident on the VFW Parkway last night around 7 p.m.

The victim of the motorcyclist who died after an accident on the VFW Parkway last night, has been identified.
Donovan J. Bartee, 25, of Boston, was operating a 2007 Yamaha R6, according to preliminary investigations by Massachusetts State Trooper Brian Mahoney.
The crash occurred on the outbound side of the VFW Parkway, in the West Roxbury, and involved the motorcyclists and a pick-up truck.
State Police are investigating the accident, wanting to know why the cycle collided with a 2011 Honda Ridgeline pick up truck, thus pinning Bartee underneath the truck. The Boston Fire Department removed the victim, and he was transported to Beth Israel Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
