Vehicles Broken Into While Parked on Mt. Vernon Street

Some items stolen were found farther down on Mt. Vernon Street.

 

 

A female victim told District E-5 Police that her New Hampshire-regiestered vehicle was broken into while parked on Mt Vernon Street sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 21 into the morning of Sept. 22.

A Fendi pocketbook, personal papers, cash, credit cards, a GPS, a NOOK electronic reader, were all removed from the vehicle. The pocketbook, with personal papers and the GPS, were found farthed down on Mt. Vernon Street, but the paper's including the victim's passport, were ruined due to wet weather.

The victim's sister's vehicle was also broken into, with nothing being taken, but the items in the glove compartment were scattered on the front seat.
