Shortly after midnight on September 1 a victim said that he was jumped by two suspects on his way home.

The victim told West Roxbury Police that he was confronted by two unknown suspects at 45 Hastings St. while on his way back from work. 

The suspects allegedly demanded money and when the victim refused, he was punched in the head and knocked to the ground. The suspects tried to steal an iPod from the victim, but were unsuccessful. 

The suspects then fled on foot towards Centre Street. 

The victim refused medical attention at the scene and told police that he thought the suspects had followed him from Walgreen's Pharmacy in a car. 

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
