A Roslindale woman told police she believes her wallet was stolen from her while recycling bottles.

A victim walked in to District E-5 on Jan. 27 and said she believed she had been pickpocketed while recycling bottles at Roche Bros.

The victim said she was shopping at the supermarket around 8 p.m. and after depositing bottles she noticed her wallet was missing. The victim told police she belived her wallet was in the left pocket of her raincoat, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim asked the customer service desk if anyone had returned a wallet, which no one had at that time. After speaking with the store manager, the victim and manager watched security tapes.

A woman was observed getting in close proximity to the victim while she was depositing bottles. This woman was described as a white female, in her late 40s, about 5-feet 3-inches, long black hair, wearing a black winter puffy vest and white longsleeved shirt.

The victim said the wallet contained several financial credit/debit cards, a driver's license, $60 in cash, and $200 check made out to the victim's mother.
