Weigh In: What Have You Heard About the iPhone 5?
It will have a thinner, larger screen? It will cost $800? What are the latest rumors you've heard?
September 12. Mark your calendar. Maybe.
That's the antipated release date of Apple's iPhone 5. That's the latest anyway, but signs point to a release date of at least before October.
So what, exactly, will this eagerly awaited device unveil?
There's been rumors of a thinner, larger, better quality screen. A Japanese video shows a new streamlined case. We've heard the dock connector to charge or connect your phone to a USB may also be getting smaller, which means previous connectors may become obsolete. And Twitter followers may have heard it won't be cheap: #800dollarsforaniPhone.
We hope that's not the case, so, price aside, are you planning to get one? Will you be an Apple fan lined up in front of the Back Bay flagship store on Boylston Street? Or perhaps you'll venture down Route 9 in Chestnut Hill? Or maybe you really don't care and Siri on your 4S works just fine, thank you.
