West Roxbury Man Throws Slate Through Car Window After Being Asked to Leave Roslindale Home
The following information is provided by the Boston Police, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.
Boston Police found a suspect punching a vehicle, after being called to Robert Street for a man who threw a rock through the back of a vehicle's windshield.
On Oct. 20 around 8:39 p.m., Mark A. Barnes, of 40 Rockingham Ave., West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with wilful and malicious destruction of property.
An officer stopped the suspect from damaging the vehicle, and saw a vehicle in front of 63 Robert St with its rear window smashed with a large stone slate in the rear seat, according to a Boston Police report.
A witness identified the suspect as the one who threw the slate through the car's window. The witness said the suspect was a friend who had came over and asked to stay the night, and when she said no, the suspect allegedly became upset, so she asked him to leave.
