Westie's Football Coach Sybertz Being Replaced by Assistant
Sybertz will leave coaching the West Roxbury Raiders for the second time.
West Roxbury High's head football coach Leo Sybertz will not be in the sidelines this fall.
According to Boston.com, Sybertz is being replaced by assistant coach Derek Wright, who served under Sybertz for two years.
Sybertz, 74, coached West Roxbury from 1976 to 2007, winning 202 games, including five Super Bowls and 13 league championships. Sybertz returned to coaching the team in 2010, but it looks like this will be the hurrah for the 74-year-old.
