What's Open and Closed on Veterans Day 2012
Boston City Hall, public schools, libraries and community centers are all closed today due to Veterans Day.
Today, Monday, November 12, 2012, is Veterans Day. The following are affected by today's holiday:
Municipal offices are CLOSED, including Boston City Hall, public schools, libraries and community centers.
Parking meters are FREE, but other parking rules remain in effect - so you still cannot park on the sidewalk.
There will be no daytime street cleaning on Monday, except overnight cleaning from 12:01 to 7 a.m. on posted ways. Street cleaning resumes at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday as posted.
Trash/recycling collections are one day late for remainder of week except Boston proper, Roxbury, South Boston and Charlestown.

Tow lot hours: Closed 11:30 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Tuesday; (kiosks open 24 hours for cash, Visa, or MasterCard payments.)
