Wicked Sharp Wins Best Sporting Goods Store Readers' Choice Poll
Wicked Sharp took an early lead and never relinquished control of the poll. Did they ski away with the win, hit a winner down the line, or some other ski/snowboard/tennis winning metaphor.
Wicked Sharp took an early lead and never relented in this week's Readers' Choice poll asking - what is the best sporting goods store in West Roxbury?
Wicked Sharp, which was the first shop of the three nominees to open in the last couple of years, took home 15 total votes for 46% of the vote. Busted Knuckle Bike Shop, which opened second, also finished second, with 9 votes or 28% of the vote. Fittingly, GC Skate Shop finished third, and was the third business of the the vaunted trio to open its doors in the last couple of years. GC took 5 total votes for 15% of the vote.
The noted option of "other" took home 3 votes for 9% of the total vote. Those votes might've been split for all three options, as some of the comments pointed out the difficulty in picking a winner.
Michaelo Loconto commented, "3-way tie."
Sandra Myers commented, "This is actually a comparison between apples, oranges, and pears. If some people like to ski but not skate, then that would bias the person toward the ski shop."
Next week's Patch Readers' Choice poll wants to know - where is the best place to get chowder/soup?
