As part of the Eat, Drink, Laugh Restaurant Group (which includes 21st Amendment and The Paramount in Beacon Hill and Dorchester's Blarney Stone), West on Centre combines subtle elegance with an air of casual camaraderie to create an unusually versatile venue. Its American cuisine is presented unpretentiously but with plenty of nouveau fusion flair. The upstairs area is separated into two rooms, one with the bar and the other with a galley kitchen, while the lower level includes a function room (with its own bar) and some outdoor patio seating located beside a garden where fresh basil and other cooking herbs are grown.
