DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Dedham&rsquo\;s rich architectural history with a s
 elf-guided walking tour of wonderful homes in one of Dedham&rsquo\;s his
 toric neighborhoods. This year&rsquo\;s tour will include four historic 
 homes\, a historic church\, and the former Gay Tavern recently restored 
 as a rector&rsquo\;s residence. The tour also includes the Fairbanks Hou
 se\, the oldest timber frame house in New England. The tour will take pl
 ace rain or shine. We welcome children age ten or older.\nRefreshments a
 nd tea will be served along the way. Your tickets may be picked up the d
 ay of the tour at The Dedham Historical Society\, 612 High Street\; begi
 nning at 11:30 am. These fabulous buildings may be viewed from noon unti
 l 4 pm. As an extra bonus\, the Dedham Open Studios will have several ar
 tist studios in the area open and free of charge for you to explore.&nbs
