Do you feel like food shopping is a chore? Is your grocery bill always more than you expect? Are you confused about the healthiest foods to choose? Baffled by the Nutrition Facts label? Then join us for a fun and informative tour at your local supermarket.
March Wed 27th Nutrition Concerns for Older Adults: Foods to choose that will address your special nutritional needs.
April Tue 23rd Easy Meal Planning: Tour of ingredients to make quick nutritious, easy-cook or no-cook meals. Recipe handouts will be provided.
Registration is required to attend. There is a 10 person limit per tour.

Upon entering the Roche Bros. supermarket in West Roxbury, you'll encounter a produce section that's clean and full of good-looking fruits and veggies. The store has brick walls and an open ceiling, making you feel less assaulted than the usual supermarket florescence does. You can pick up lottery tickets at the customer service desk to the right of the cashiers, as well as get a DVD at the kiosk in front of the customer service desk.
