DESCRIPTION:The Highland Street Foundation&rsquo\;s Free Fun Fridays prog
 ram will offer free admission to the Boston Harbor Island Alliance on Fr
 iday\, August 24\, 2012. This year\, a record-breaking 50 venues are par
 ticipating in Free Fun Fridays\, with five cultural venues open free-of-
 charge one Friday for ten weeks throughout the summer.&nbsp\;\nThis is a
  free ferry ride to either (or both) of the two most popular Boston Harb
 or Islands &ndash\; Georges Island (with historic Fort Warren and ranger
 -guided tours) and Spectacle Island (with a life-guard supervised beach 
 and 5 miles of hiking trails).\nFree tickets for the Harbor Islands Expr
 ess Ferry will be distributed on a first come\, first serve basis Ticket
 s will be handed out for the earliest ferry\, then the next\, and so on\
 , until all ferry seats for the day are distributed &ndash\; last year\,
  all tickets were distributed by 10:30 am.
