This is a fundraising month for Mass General's Friends of Music and Medicine. The group is starting a pilot project to hire musicians to play in the lobbies, waiting rooms and other public areas of the hospital. The group will use the funds to also open a center for the research of music and medicine and how they relate for good health to be named The Center for Music and Medicine. Donations are tax deductible.
