The Jason Roberts Challenger League, a baseball program for special needs children throughout Boston and surrounding towns, is currently accepting player registrations for the 2013 season.
Games are played at the Jason Roberts Field at the Ohrenberger School (West Roxbury), Monday through Thursday from 5:45PM - 7:30 PM. Children ages 6-12 play on Mondays and Wednesdays, and children over 12 play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Parents may access registration information at www.jasonrobertschallengerleague.com or request a form by calling Bill Hubbard, Director at 617-364-9249 or emailing bhjrcl@aol.com. The registration fee is $90 per child for the season and the deadline is March 15, 2013.
Participants learn not only the fundamentals of baseball, but also how it feels to be just like other children - pulling together as a team, being cheered and earning awards for their achievements.
Opening day ceremonies for this season will take place on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 5:45pm.

More About William Ohrenberger Elementary School
This elementary school serves grades K2 - 6 and has advanced work classes for grades 4 and 5. There is an attached community center that students often attend after school. The school is transitioning to a K-8 school with the Beethoven School which is also in West Roxbury.
