$10.00
On Sunday, June 17th, 5-6:30 PM, the MSPCA will host the Boston debut of a film documentary called “Toughlove: A Meditation on Dominance and Dogs,” which traces the history of the “alpha dog” concept from its origins in 1940’s wolf studies to its current popularity among ordinary dog owners, pondering themes of family, hierarchy and power along the way.
By UMass Lowell history professor Chad Montrie, the film features such luminaries as Sophia Yin, Raymond Coppinger, Alexandra Horowitz, and the MSPCA’s own behaviorist, Terri Bright.
