Cops for Kids with Cancer and West Roxbury Main Streets are hosting Put the Cuffs on Cancer, a joint fundraising event, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 7 pm  in the exclusive Foundation Room at The House of Blues Boston.  All proceeds from this event will help Cops for Kids with Cancer continue to support the families of children with cancer and assist with West Roxbury Main Streets' community revitalization efforts.

About our organizations:

Cops for Kids with Cancer is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization made up of law enforcement officers and friends of law enforcement.  In 2010, CKC gave $5,000 grants to the families of 36 children living with cancer in Massachusetts, for a grand total of $180,000.  One of these children was four year-old Mikalo, a resident of West Roxbury, who is suffering from ALL Leukemia. 

Now in its tenth year, West Roxbury Main Streets (WRMS) is a non-profit organization that promotes and enhances West Roxbury's business district. WRMS strives to enhance the physical appearance of the commercial district; improve its economic stability; market its features and benefits; and promote community involvement among its business and residential membership base.
