Starting June 4, 2011 and continuing every Saturday until Oct. 29, Roslindale Village Main Street sponsors the Roslindale Farmers' Market featuring 6 farms, and many specialty vendors selling locally made produced or grown foods, baked goods, sauces, meat and poultry, cheeses, plants, fruits, vegetables, hand crafts, art, photographs, tea and coffee products, hand made clothing, handmade soaps, etc. Childrens activities every sat at 10Am and live music at 11AM. Special theme days throught the season include Sustainability, Picnic Day, Dog Day, etc. This farmers market has grown to be one of the most robust farmers' markets in the greater Boston area. Come see why this market averages 2000 shoppers every week. Free admittance and free designated parking in the lower MBTA parting lot at Roslindale Station entrance (South St and Belgrade Ave). Come see what you have been nissing smack dab in the middle of Roslindale Village.

On Saturday June 18, "Mama and Me" will entrtain the kids at 10 am and Bloco will perform live from 11 am-1pm at the Roslindale Farmers' Marke in Adams Park at the intersection of Washington St and Cummins Highway in Roslindale Village. Its free!
