September's Highland Hash Fun Run with Notch Brewing at West on Centre

Join West Roxbury Main Streets as we partner with the Parkway Running Club to host a series of fun runs this fall across West Roxbury. Take the opportunity to be healthy, meet your neighbors and support our local restaurants while you enjoy some great food and local craft beers.
The Fun Run Series begins on Thursday, September 20, and will continue on Thursday, October 11 and Saturday, November 3. Fun Run participants will meet outside at the start time and begin the run at the host venue, where they can choose from a 2.5-mile or 5 mile route based on their skill level. Each route will end back at the venue, with light appetizers and locally brewed craft beer.
The Fun Run Series schedule is:
Thursday, September 20. 6:30 pm run, followed by appetizers and beer from Notch Brewing Company at West on Centre restaurant on the garden patio from 7 - 8:30 pm.
Thursday, October 11. 6:30 pm run, followed by appetizers from LeanWorks and beer from High & Mighty Beer in the tasting room at Blanchard's, 7 - 8:30 pm.
Saturday, November 3. 2 pm run, followed by appetizers and beer from Slumbrew at Porter Cafe, 2:30 - 4 pm.
There is no cost for these events, which are being sponsored by the Parkway Running Club and West Roxbury Main Streets to promote healthy living and neighborhood businesses in West Roxbury. More About West On Centre
As part of the Eat, Drink, Laugh Restaurant Group (which includes 21st Amendment and The Paramount in Beacon Hill and Dorchester's Blarney Stone), West on Centre combines subtle elegance with an air of casual camaraderie to create an unusually versatile venue. Its American cuisine is presented unpretentiously but with plenty of nouveau fusion flair. The upstairs area is separated into two rooms, one with the bar and the other with a galley kitchen, while the lower level includes a function room (with its own bar) and some outdoor patio seating located beside a garden where fresh basil and other cooking herbs are grown.
