The public is invited to a painting demonstration by William St. George at the West Roxbury Library, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 3.
St. George is a direct, vibrant, contemporary artist who paints landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and portraits. Bill has many works in corporate collections and many one-man shows. He was named Who’s Who in American Art and a product of The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His gallery is at 162 Boylston St., Boston. View his works at www.stgeorgegallery.com.

More About West Roxbury Library
The West Roxbury Library has been serving the community since 1896, providing both children and adults a chance to read, learn and grow. Events held at the library range from author readings and a chess club to live jazz performances and flower arranging workshops. The branch prides itself on its Irish history collection and offers reading programs for preschool kids and older. The West Roxbury Historical Society also resides at the library.
